Fasting is often seen as a way to draw closer to God and to seek His guidance and help. In the Bible, fasting has to do with eliminating distractions for a spiritual purpose and is often accompanied by prayer. It also enables us to celebrate the goodness and grace of God and prepares our hearts for all the good things he desires to bring into our lives.

SOCIAL MEDIA
This is a great way for those who wish to refocus certain areas of their life that are out of balance. Taking the time that you may spend scrolling through instagram, Facebook, tik tok or twitter and refocusing that time in the presence of God.
LANGUAGE
The Bible says that life and death are in the power of the tongue. This could be a great time to watch the words that we declare over our life and those around us. Use these 21 days to speak life over your friends and family and begin to declare the promises of God over your life.
IDOLS
The bible defines an idol as the worship of anything other than God. Maybe this could be a way to remove something from your life that you spend a lot of time doing like watching TV, watching the news or following your favorite sports team.
MEALS
This is one of the most common types of fast and there are several ways you can fast meals. There can be complete fast of food by drinking only liquids which could last 1 day, 3 days or longer. You could also do a selective fast of certain food types such as meat or sweets. You could even do a partial fast, which would include fasting certain times of the day such as 6AM - 3PM
